Football:
Pasadena picked up its first victory of the 2021 fall season on Friday.
The Bulldogs defeated El Camino Real, 55-23, in their home opener.
PHS has now scored 93 points in their first two games.
Kaden Taylor completed four of his six pass attempts for 155 yards and three touchdowns.
Freshman Hype Grand tossed a 65-yard TD for the Bulldogs.
Mekhi Fox continued his incredible play on Friday.
The PHS star senior caught three passes for 140 yards and scored three TD’s.
Jamir Allen had just one reception, but it went for a 65-yard score.
As a program, PHS had 178 yards rushing on 20 carries.
Jason Sanford carried the ball just two times, but led Pasadena with 65 yards rushing and a score.
Kaden Taylor rushed for 50 yards rushing on three carries, and that includes a TD.
Ahmad Jolley added 40 yards rushing to the PHS tally on eight carries.
Jolley also had a team-high 10 tackles on defense, including three tackles-for-loss.
Up next: PHS will host Paraclete on Friday at 7.
The Spirits (1-1) dropped a 45-31 decision to Garces Memorial of Bakersfield on Friday.
