Quotable:
Flintridge Prep pitcher, Spencer Seid: “Coming into the game down 5-0 in the third, I knew that my job was to hold Ventura and keep us in the ballgame, because with the talent of our bats, eventually we would string hits together and get back into the game. Even down 5-0, no one on our team got flustered. We all kept our composure, because we knew there was a reason why we were hosting this game and why we won league. The whole team battled 1-through-nine, and fought during every at-bat. The fourth and the sixth inning were some of the most fun baseball I have ever played during my three years at Prep. This team is special and we have a chance to make a run at CIF this year.”
