It must have been a pretty satisfying feeling for the Northview wrestling program on Wednesday.
The Vikings’ girls started the afternoon by edging their guests from Paloma Valley, 43-42, on criteria.
And after the conclusion of the CIF-SS Division 1 girls quarterfinal round, it was time for the top-seeded program in Division 2.
And Northview made that ranking look just after defeating Fountain Valley, 43-21.
The Barons challenged the Vikings like Irvine and Etiwanda could not.
In their first two victories of the D-2 playoffs, Northview defeated Irvine and Etiwanda by a combined margin of 148-3.
On Saturday, NHS will travel to Santa Ana and take on Calvary Chapel in the D-2 championship.
