Girls Basketball:
Bonita hosted Cajon on Wednesday night in a CIF-SS Division 2AA quarterfinal showdown.
The Cowboys entered the game with an 11-0 record and their average margin of victory was 44 points.
Cajon left La Verne 12-0, but did so by the skin of their collective teeth.
The Bearcats had three untimely turnovers in the last minute and fell to the Cowboys, 47-46.
Talia Washington and Ayana Campbell led Cajon with 13 points apiece.
Bryanna Graham had just over 50-percent of Bonita’s offense, scoring a game-high 24 points.
Graham scored 10 of the Bearcats 14 fourth-quarter points and went 10-of-11 from the free-throw line on Wednesday.
Amore Mason chipped in with nine points and Chloe Medina had six points for Bonita
