Boys Basketball:

It wasn’t just the 65-64 victory over Wiseburn Da Vinci in the quarterfinal round of the CIF-SS Division 4AA playoffs that had Arcadia excited, it was just as much the way they did it.

Shant Chenorhavorian hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to earn the Apaches a spot in Friday’s semifinal round.

To their credit, the Wolves erased a 14-point deficit and even took a four-point lead.

Adrian Hernandez paced the Apaches offense with 21 points and Tim Kwon added 13.

Taka Mahe led Da Vinci with 21 points and Jayce Johnson chipped in with 20 points.
