Baseball:
South Hills picked up the two-game, Hacienda League sweep of Wilson on Thursday.
The Huskies cruised to a 12-0 victory after out-hitting the Wildcats, 10-4.
Dylan Esquival got the win after three scoreless innings.
Esquival allowed two hits, walked two and struck out three.
Jeremiah Sibrian provided three scoreless and struck out two.
Steven Jimenez closed out the victory in the seventh.
Jimenez allowed one hit, didn’t walk anyone and fanned one Wilson batter.
Anthony Cimina was stuck with the loss.
He allowed four runs on no hits, but walked nine SHHS batters.
Jeremiah Sibrian walked and scored.
Andrew Ramirez walked three times and scored each time.
Anthony Rasmussen walked twice, doubled, scored and drove in three runs.
Steven Jimenez walked and scored.
Shane Ingrin had an RBI base hit and Ethan Lee singled, scored and had an RBI.
Gilbert Morales walked, singled, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.
Matthew Yanez doubled, scored and had two RBIs.
Athen Malone went 2-for-2, and both Zachary Nava and Andres Mitat scored one run apiece.
