Clark, Jacobson & Smith Pace GHS Offense in Wednesday’s 52-37 Victory Over SDHS in 1st Round of CIF D-3A Playoffs

Glendora got out to an early lead on Wednesday night and never looked back.

The Tartans led by seven after the first quarter, 12 at the half and cruised to a 52-37 victory over San Dimas in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3A playoffs.

Austin Clark had a big game for GHS, scoring a game-high 17 points, dishing out three assists and grabbing a pair of rebounds.

Luke Jacobson added 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Noah Smith contributed 10 points, four rebounds and six assists in the win.

Zaye Salgado led San Dimas with 13 points.

Drew Breeze finished with seven points and both Donovan Truley and DJ Williams chipped in six points apiece for the Saints.

Up next: Glendora will host Oak Hills on Friday at 7.

The Bulldogs (13-6) defeated Indian Springs, 88-71, in Wednesday’s first-round contest.
