PHS Defeated Muir, 6-5, in Tuesday’s Pacific League Showdown; Griffith’s 2-Run Double Was The Difference

Baseball:

Pasadena scored first and last in Tuesday’s 6-5, Pacific League victory at Muir.

The Bulldogs got a pair of runs in the top of the sixth inning and Max Newhart would do the rest.

Ben Griffith started the game for PHS.

He went five innings and allowed five runs to pick up the win.

Max Newhart went two scoreless innings to secure the save.

Ben Griffith’s two-run double turned out to be the game winner.

Mahki Clark walked, singled twice and scored a pair of runs for Muir.

Up next: PHS will host Muir on Friday to close out the 2021 season.

First pitch is scheduled for 3:15.
