After 10 consecutive wins, the Apaches dropped a 12-3 decision at San Dimas on Saturday morning.
The Saints extended their win streak to nine games.
Matt Romero got the win, going 5 1/3 innings and allowing three runs on 10 hits.
He walked one and struck out four Apaches’ batters.
Brandon Nguyen singled and hit a solo home run.
Devon Eskridge went 2-for-4, and Julian Eskridge doubled and scored.
Ari Nurhadi went 3-for-3, including a double and one RBI.
Julian Eskridge got the loss.
Eskridge surrendered 10 runs (nine earned) on 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings.
He walked one and struck out five SDHS batters.
Ryan Kim hit a solo home run and scored twice.
Tyler Pardus went 4-for-4, including a double, two RBIs, and he scored a pair of runs.
Kasen Khansarinia singled and scored twice.
Ryder Young singled, doubled, scored and drove in four runs.
Landon White doubled twice, scored and had two RBIs.
Robert Castillo went 2-for-4, with an RBI and two runs scored.
