Baseball:
Arcadia won its 10th consecutive game on Friday and improved to 11-0 in Pacific League play.
The Apaches claimed a 10-5 victory at Muir.
Gabriel Lopez went 2 1/3 innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on seven hits.
He walked three and struck out one.
Harrison Meyers went the final 4 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed three hits.
Meyers didn’t walk anyone and struck out five Mustangs’ batters to earn the win.
Mahki Clark walked, singled, doubled, scored and drove in two runs.
Jose Guzman went 2-for-4 and scored a run.
Angel Anaya singled twice and Jaime Caldera walked and scored a pair of runs.
Jachai Pulley had an RBI single and Baylin Brooks singled and scored.
For the Mustangs, Jaime Caldera allowed three runs on one hit and four walks before being pulled.
Jose Guzman would surrender seven runs on six hits and two walks over his 3 1/3 innings.
Matthew McIntire singled, doubled and drove in three runs for Arcadia.
Alex Dolan singled, doubled, scored twice and had an RBI.
Daniel Chavez singled in two runs and scored twice.
Julian Eskridge singled and scored a pair of runs and his little brother, Devon Eskridge, doubled on Friday.
Mikey Easter went 2-for-2, with a walk, RBI, and scored two runs.
Brandon Nguyen singled and scored twice.
Up next: Arcadia will travel to San Dimas this morning (Saturday) at 11 a.m.
The Apaches and Saints are leading the Pacific and Valle Vista Leagues, respectively.
But something has to give on Saturday because AHS is riding a 10-game win streak and SDHS has won eight consecutive.
Arcadia will then enter the final week of the regular season with three games to go and a two-game lead over second-place Crescenta Valley.
The Apaches will meet up with Glendale on Wednesday, which rests in between the two games with CV.
