Boys Basketball:
Glendora secured the Palomares League’s No. 2 seed on Wednesday.
GHS finished league play 8-2 after a 68-59 victory at Alta Loma.
With a 27-point lead after three quarters, the Tartans emptied their bench and were outscored, 24-6, in the final eight minutes.
Noah Smith had a monster game, hitting six 3-pointers and scoring 29 points.
Smith was 6-of-8 from behind the 3-point line, 4-of-5 on two-point attempts, and he tallied two rebounds and two assists.
Luke Jacobson contributed 24 points, including 3-of-3 from 3-point land.
Jacobson grabbed five rebounds and had two assists.
Josh Rock led Alta Loma with 14 points and Kye Conway added 14 for the Braves.
