Austin Clark’s 21 Points Leads Glendora to a 62-48, Palomares League Victory at Claremont

Boys Basketball:

Glendora inched even closer to earning the No. 2 seed out of the Palomares League after Tuesday’s 62-48 victory at Claremont.

Austin Clark led the way with 21 points, including a 9-of-10 effort from the free-throw line.

Clark also had two assists.

Noah Smith contributed 16 points, four rebounds and two assists.

And Braydon Wooldridge chipped in with 15 points (5-of-7 free throws) and three rebounds.

Sebastian DePrez led CHS with 16 points.

Marcus Sheppard finishd with 13 points and Isaiah Love had six points for the Wolfpack.

Jack Anderson didn’t score, but he contributed nine rebounds and seven assists, and Luke Jacobson had six points and 10 boards.

Claremont’s Ezrom Stephanos and Ricky McIntosh scored five points apiece.

If Colony defeats Bonita on Wednesday, the Tartans win clinch the league’s No. 2 seed, but if the Bearcats hand the Titans their first league loss, GHS will need a victory at Alta Loma (2-10, 0-8).
