Aaron Park Scores 15 Points in San Dimas’ 48-44 Valle Vista League Victory Over Diamond Ranch

Boys Basketball:

It was closer than they would have liked.

But the bottom line is San Dimas got the 48-44 Valle Vista League victory over visiting Diamond Ranch on senior night.

The Saints outscored the Panthers by seven points in the second half, 27-20.

Aaron Park led SDHS with 15 points.

Diamond Ranch’s Benjamin Mayorga led all scorers with 23 points, including four 3-pointers.

The Saints defense, however, held Mayorga to just seven second-half points and no 3-pointers.

Drew Breeze, Donovan Truley and Zaye Salgado chipped in with seven points apiece in the win.

All seven of Salgado’s points came from the free-throw line.

Up next: San Dimas closes out its regular season schedule on Thursday as they travel to West Covina.

The tip is slated for 6.
