Girls Basketball:
With just one game to be played, the Flintridge Prep girls basketball program remained undefeated on Monday evening.
The Wolves defeated La Canada, 47-39, and improved to 11-0 this spring season.
Ashlyn Zhang had 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Sofia Gonzalez added 11 points, 14 rebounds and three assists.
La Canada’s Lauren Scoville led all scorers with 17 points.
Bethany Co chipped in with nine points and Melissa Le had seven for the Spartans.
Maddie Chiu finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Mikaylie Kiyomura contributed eight points, two assists and a steal to Prep’s eight-point victory.
Up next: The Wolves finish out their regular season schedule on Friday when they host Pasadena Poly.
La Canada will travel to winless Monrovia (0-7) next Monday at 5:15.
