Jacob Escamilla kept the Serra bats silent throughout Thursday’s Del Rey League contest.
Escamilla went six innings and allowed one run on two hits, as the Lancers defeated the Cavaliers, 5-1.
Escamilla struck out seven to earn the victory.
La Salle got two runs in the top of the third inning and three more in the seventh to win their fourth consecutive league game.
Evan Nahra doubled, scored and had one RBI.
Adrian Beltre singled and drove in two runs.
Jaden Guzman had two RBIs in the win.
Val Gomez singled and scored a pair of runs.
Escamilla went 1-for-3 at the plate.
La Salle goes for the three-game sweep of the Cavs on Saturday.
