Etiwanda Bats Pound St. Lucy’s Pitching in Thursday’s 14-4 Baseline League Victory

Softball:

Etiwanda remained just one-game back of first-place Upland and Chino Hills on Thursday.

The Eagles out-hit St. Lucy’s 16-3, and claimed a 14-4 Baseline League victory in five innings.

Miranda Roldan went all five innings, allowing four unearned runs on three hits.

She walked two and struck out 10.

The Eagles jumped on St. Lucy’s pitching for five first-inning runs and never slowed down.

Odyssey Torres walked, singled three times, had an RBI and three runs scored.

Karissa Munsey went 3-for-3, with a walk, two singles, a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Elle Komara walked, singled twice and drove in two runs.

Casey Fazzini singled, doubled, scored and had two RBIs.

Najiah Harris singled and scored a pair of runs and Jailey Wilson walked and scored.

Tristen Wren singled twice, drove in three runs and scored once.

Summer Ramos had two RBIs in the win.

Grace Valdivia and Leilani Coleman both singled and scored.

Up next: Etiwanda will travel to Los Osos on Tuesday.

First pitch is set for 3:15.
