Baseball:
Rancho Cucamonga got a great outing for Jacob Billings and the Cougars stomped Upland, 11-0, in Monday’s Baseline League contest.
Billings went the distance, scattering four hits, walking one and striking out nine Highlanders’ batters.
Jayden Lopez went 3-for-3 for RCHS, including a double, run scored and two RBIs.
Joshua Farmer singled twice, drove in two and scored once in the victory.
Jonathan Manuel had a two-run single and Eddie Rocha singled and scored.
Wilson Dunn singled, scored and had an RBI, and Drew Copelan singled and scored.
Cole Flores had an RBI base hit and Michael Woodward singled and scored.
Billings helped his own cause with an RBI and two runs scored.
