Knapper & Simpson Combine for 49 Points in Colony’s 72-55 Palomares League Victory Over Glendora

Boys Basketball:

Glendora was able to hang with Colony throughout the first half of Friday’s Palomares League showdown between the first-place Titans and second-place Tartans.

But Colony outscored GHS, 40-23, in the second half, and went on to claim a 72-55 victory.

Brenton Knapper had a game-high 26 points and Jaidyn Simpson chipped in with 23 points in the win.

Noah Smith led GHS with 17 points, including 4-of-7 from behind the 3-point line.

Smith also had five assists and two rebounds.

Ayden Green scored 11 points and grabbed three rebounds.

Jack Anderson (two rebounds, two assists) and Luke Jacobson (three rebounds, two assists) both scored eight points apiece for the Tartans.

Up next: GHS will host Hesperia today (Saturday) at 3.
