Boys Basketball:

Talk about drama.

Arcadia fought back from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to take a four-point lead with less than a minute to play on Monday night.

But Naeem Lewis saved the day (or night) for La Salle.

Lewis made a 3-point basket with eight seconds to play.

The Lancers, trailing by one point, fouled Arcadia with 4.1 seconds left.

The Apaches’ player missed the front end, La Salle got the rebound, and gave it to Lewis.

Lewis took a deep-3-point shot and was fouled with one second remaining on the scoreboard,

He needed one of the three to tie and two to win.

Lewis made all three free-throw attempts and La Salle escaped with a 65-63 victory.

Lewis finished with 28 points and six assists.

Uriah Foster added 10 points, 13 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Javon Trobel led Arcadia with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Tim Kwoh chipped in with 15 points and four assists for the Apaches.

Isaiah Maye had nine points for La Salle and Dominic Williams contributed seven points and nine rebounds in the win.

Up next: Arcadia travel to Glendora tonight (Tuesday) and La Salle will visit Providence on Wednesday.
