What a difference a week can make.
San Dimas senior Jordan Hill entered the week of April 26th as part of a Saints softball program that was 1-8.
Fast forward seven days, and Hill earned a prestigious accolade from SDHS, and then followed that up by playing a large role in a pair of Valle Vista League victories.
Tuesday: Hill was named the San Dimas High School Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Wednesday: The Saints hammered Northview, 23-0, in the VVL opener. She pitched four scoreless innings and struck out eight. At the plate, Hill had two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Friday: Two days later, she went five innings and allowed one earned run in a 5-3 victory at Covina. Hill struck out six in that game and helped her own cause with a solo home run.
Up next: San Dimas will host Charter Oak on Wednesday and travel to Diamond Ranch on Friday.
