Girls Basketball:
When the Claremont girls basketball teams falls asleep Friday night, don’t be too surprised if they have a nightmare of Glendora hitting 3-pointer and 3-pointer.
The Tartans connected on 16 3-point buckets Friday night and defeated the Wolfpack, 83-61, in a Palomares League game.
Emma Barnett and Kennedy Pucci had 18 points apiece in the win.
All 18 of Barnett’s output came from behind the 3-point line.
Karley Tilton finished with 16 points, which included four 3-pointers from the GHS senior.
Miriam Tomt added 13 points, including three 3-point baskets.
Hailey Schafer contributed 10 points in the win.
Up next: GHS will host Sonora (9-3) today (Saturday) at 4.
