Noah Smith Has 22 Points, 5 Rebounds & 4 Assists in Glendora’s 58-51 Victory at Ayala

Glendora and Ayala had a dueling tug-of-war Palomares League showdown Tuesday night.

The Tartans outscored the Bulldogs in the first and third periods and Ayala out-did GHS in the second and fourth.

In the end, Glendora left Chino Hills with a 58-51 victory to improve to 2-0 in league play.

Noah Smith was huge with 22 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Luke Jacobson chipped in with 16 points and 13 rebounds and Braydon Wooldridge added 10 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Aydan Baik led Ayala with 14 points.

Jermaine Rogers scored 11 for the Bulldogs and Dylan Victorio finished with 10 points.

Nathan Cipriano had seven and Kyler Wong four points for Ayala.

Austin Clark provided GHS with eight points, five rebounds and two assists.

Jack Anderson contributed seven rebounds and four assists while playing solid defense for GHS.

Up next: Glendora will host Colony tonight (Wednesday) at 6:30, and Ayala will host Colony on Friday.
