Sofia Gonzalez is off to a terrific start to her senior season.
On Tuesday, Sofia had 22 points, 16 rebounds, four steals and two assists in a 58-54 victory over South Pasadena in the 2021 season opener.
One night later, the Wolves’ guard went off for 24 points, five rebounds, six steals, one assist and a block in a 10-point victory over Burbank.
Prep was supposed to open defense of its Prep League title on Friday, but there was a COVID-19 issue with their opponent.
Instead, the Wolves will host Providence on Tuesday night in the league opener for both programs.
