Girls Basketball:
If the first two games are any indication, Flintridge Prep guard Sofia Gonzalez is going to have a monster senior season.
On Tuesday, Gonzalez had 22 points and 16 rebounds in a four-point victory over South Pasadena.
One night later, she scores 24 points, has five rebounds and six assists in a 58-48 victory over Burbank.
Ashlyn Zhang added 23 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Mikaylie Kimomura contributed six points and three assists.
Tabitha Cruz led Burbank with 13 points and both Erika Montoya and Emily Megerdichian had 12 points apiece for the Bulldogs.
Up next: Prep will open their league schedule Friday at Chadwick.
