Boys Basketball:
Another opponent, and another victory for Damien.
The Spartans cruised past Hesperia, 69-46, on Friday afternoon.
Damien got 22 points from RJ Smith, including three 3-point baskets.
Spivey Word had a solid outing with 15 points and Jimmy Oladokun contributed 13 in the win.
Jonathan McCollough had 28 of Hesperia’s 46 points.
Malik Thomas finished with 10 points for the Spartans.
Up next: Damien will host Orange Lutheran (3-0) Saturday at noon.
