Girls Basketball:
After three consecutive blowout victories to start the 2021 season, La Salle fell for the first time on Thursday.
Village Christian edged the visiting Lancers, 54-48, in Sun Valley.
Ellie Chen led all scorers with 24 points and her sister, Audrey Chen had 14 points for the Lancers.
Madison Hodges led Village Christian with 13 points.
Up next: La Salle will travel to St. Genevieve on Wednesday.
