Football:
It might not be the 10-game season that everyone was hoping for.
But there is still a lot of excitement around the San Dimas football program, especially for a special group of seniors.
The Saints dominated visiting Northview, 35-0, to improve to 4-0, in the 2021 spring football season.
So far, San Dimas has defeated Garden Grove, Claremont, Los Altos and now Northview by a combined margin of 150-19.
On Friday, senior Jacob Buccola scored on TD runs of 5, 1, 15 and 15.
Ryan Bulick doesn’t get to throw the ball as often as he’d like, but when his number is called, he always seems to make a big play.
And Friday was no exception.
Bulick hit fellow senior, Brandon Kalmar, on a 38-yard TD in the second half.
Northview falls to 1-3, and the Vikings have been outscored, 104-41.
Up next: The Saints will close out the abbreviated season next Thursday at Diamond Ranch.
And the Vikings will host Los Altos on Saturday at Covina District Field.
