Don’t look now, but Pasadena is just a win over Muir next week from clinching a Pacific League championship.
The Bulldogs claimed their fourth victory in a row Thursday by defeating Crescenta Valley, 47-20, at Glendale High School.
Mekhi Fox and Ahmad Jolly had first-quarter scores to give PHS a 14-7 lead.
Fox scored again in the second quarter, and the Bulldogs took a 21-7 advantage into the half.
Dante Coronel hit Fox on a 50-yard score, Jamir Allen went the length of the football field for another, and Fox scored for the fourth time and the lead stretched to 41-20.
The fourth quarter’s lone TD was by PHS’ Ahmad Jolley.
Pasadena has now outscored its four opponents by a combined margin of 166-60.
