Boys Soccer:
Marshall Fundamental’s contest this week pitted a set of coaches that are familiar with each other, and are longtime friends.
Gabrielino coaches, Miguel and Eric, saw their tactics payoff by taking a 2-0 first-half lead.
In the second half, Eagles’ coaches Erick, Freddy and Francia made adjustments and Marshall was able to catch Gabrielino with goals from Logan Davis and Victor Camacho.
Tex Bonham had another outstanding effort, and finished with 13 saves in goal for the Eagles.
Marshall will be back in action on Thursday at El Monte.
