Monrovia bounced back from its first loss of 2021 with a 9-0 victory over Pasadena.

Coleman Mitchell got the win after six scoreless innings.

Coleman surrendered three hits, didn’t walk a batter and struck out eight.

Justin Brooks Evan Croad and Desi Lopez each singled and accounted for the Pasadena offense.

Jaxon Bacon got the loss.

Bacon allowed nine runs (seven earned) on seven hits over his three innings of work.

He walked four and fanned one Wildcats’ batter.

Nathan Thompson went 2-for-2, including a walk, single, double, two runs scored, a stolen base and three RBIs.

Chantz Powers singled, doubled, scored once, drove in two runs, stole a base and had one RBI.

Luke Chiovare doubled in a run and Dominic Teneriello singled, doubled and drove in a run.
