Haley Ganino set the tone offensively from the leadoff spot.
In the season opener, Charter Oak took a 5-2 lead into the fifth inning.
GHS, however, rallied for nine runs in the final three frames to defeat the Chargers, 11-5.
Ganino went 3-for-5 at the plate.
She singled twice, homered, had four RBIs and scored two runs in the victory.
Haley also got plenty of help from her teammates in the victory.
Ryan Speh added a single, double and scored twice.
Morgan Coleman singled and scored twice, and Mackenna Coleman singled and drove in two runs.
Allison Waite contributed two hits and two RBIs, and Ashley Waite doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Bridget Nemeth produced one hit, an RBI and two runs.
