Girls Basketball:
Charter Oak secured third place at the Edgewood Tournament on Friday.
The Chargers crushed Bellflower, 54-10, and improved to 4-2.
COHS led 24-0 after the first period and things never got better for the Bucs.
In fact, Bellflower had two players who accounted for all 10 points.
Amira Campbell and Mariah Welcome scored five points each to account for the BHS offense.
Alexa Bryan led Charter Oak with a game-high eight points.
Natalie Fraijo added seven points for the Chargers.
Up next: COHS will travel to Colony on Wednesday at 5:45.
