Boys Basketball:
Glendora had a cold shooting night on Friday.
And it was costly.
The Tartans fell at Thousand Oaks, 59-46, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 2A playoffs.
After winning a Division 3A championship last season, GHS was moved up to D-2A.
Braydon Wooldridge led Glendora with 15 points, two assists, two rebounds and a pair of steals.
Wooldridge won’t have any time to think about the season-ending loss, because he’ll be on the baseball field for this morning’s (Saturday) season-opening contest with visiting Downey at 11.
Luke Jacobson and Noah Smith, who played starring roles in last year’s championship, finished with 11 and nine points, respectively.
Jacobson also had three rebounds and three steals, and Smith tallied six assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Elias Chin led Thousand Oaks with 14 points.
Jack Murro had 13 points, and Patrick Saari chipped in with 12 in win.
